What an awesome album, tracks like "Glorex" & "Love Me For Me" reflects how good he is on the mic. Smooth silky voice on jazzy/groovy/futuristic beats. It's a definite must grab if you missed it, Best album so far by Tonex, better remember that name.
Tonex returns after a five year hiatus with his brand new album Unspoken. After a stellar Gospel career, Tonex expands his musical endeavors with an R&B album for the ages. Naturally the lead single, 'BL3ND', is a perfect representation of what Tonex is all about. The timely song addresses the need to stay true to one's self. Known more for his Gospel recordings, his musical efforts have been known to blend a variety of styles, including Pop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Latin, Electro, Punk and Trance, just to name a few.

Luther Vandross had so many hits throughout the 1980s and '90s, and--more importantly--was such an influential R&B stylist, that any attempt to sum him up on a single-disc compilation is somewhat futile. Still, 2006's ULTIMATE LUTHER VANDROSS, which modified the track list of the 2001 collection of the same name, does an admirable job of capturing the artist's achievement.
